At School Cycle Jatha
Cycle Jatha (Rally) – Scouts and Guides Foundation Day
The Scouts and Guides Unit of the school organised a Cycle Jatha (Rally) within the school campus on 12-11-2025 to commemorate Scouts and Guides Foundation Day. The rally was conducted exclusively for Scouts and Guides students from Classes V to VIII, with enthusiastic participation from approximately 60–70 students.
All necessary safety measures were ensured by the school, including traffic control along the rally route and the availability of a first aid kit. Additional support was provided by the Station Ambulance and Security Officers, ensuring the smooth and safe conduct of the event.
The rally was flagged off at 9:00 a.m. by the School Principal, Ms Shalini Narayan, and Junior Wing Headmistress, Ms Sonal Bharthi. The route began from the School Gate, proceeded through AFFWA and Station Sports Complex Main Road, Swimming Pool Main Road, continued to the Kachcha Ground (school left side road), completed one round of the Kachcha Ground, and returned to AF School Yelahanka Senior Wing. The total distance covered was approximately 3 kilometres.
The rally concluded successfully at 10:00 a.m. The event was coordinated and supervised by Ms Poornima N S, Guide Captain, Ms Preeti Sharma, Scouts Lady Master, Mr Amith Gudi, PRT Physical Education Teacher, and Mr Mahendra, TGT Physical Education Teacher.
The Cycle Jatha effectively promoted the spirit of discipline, fitness, teamwork, and community awareness, reflecting the core values of the Scouts and Guides movement.
